They came into Quarterfinals in third place, moved up to 2nd place in Semifinals and surpassed the hopes and dreams of many alumni (myself included) and have completed their second championship season!

This IS Phantom Regiments first solo championship, as they tied with Blue Devils in 1996 but none the less, these guys deserved it.

Great show! I only wish I had been there during the reading of the final three place scores.

I would also like to extend congratulations to the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets for their Open Class Championship Win as well as ALL the corps who competed this season. It was an excellent season and I hope everyone has excellent memories of their short time on tour this season.

With Open Class Quarterfinals and I&E in the history books and World Class Quarterfinals under way the 2008 DCI World Championships have officially begun.

Semifinals for Open and World are August 8th, and Finals are August 9th.
